A Message from the Executive Director

Hello from Mt. Hope, WV!! I am so glad you came to visit our site. I am Stormy Parsons, the Executive Director of Mt. Hope Housing Authority. We are a small Public Housing agency that serves 135 families in Southern West Virginia. We have one, two, and three bedroom apartments. You can find us nestled in the mountains between the New River Gorge and Beckley. Looking through our website you can find tips about how to apply, tips about maintenance and how to contact us. You can even pay your rent!

Mt. Hope Housing has been around since 1937, making us one of the oldest public housings in the state of WV. We have tons of unique history here. Not only on our property, but throughout our town.

Our goal here at Mt. Hope Housing is to provide everyone with safe, clean, affordable housing. It is so much our goal, that we claim it as our mission statement. We are committed to maintaining an environment that meets these goals and we hope you find it to be so.
